Satellite Hubs

The Foundation aims to work in every corner of the United Kingdom to ensure our aims and goals are met and so those who need support get it.

Through working with volunteers across the country, we are creating a network of people who are experts in their local area. Each county has their own issues when it comes to homelessness, poverty, rough sleeping and vulnerable people, and our Satellite Leaders are best placed to inform our work.

We want and encourage our Leaders to be promoting the positive work of Homeless Forums which exist in some parts of the country and help bring services which support people who are homeless together. The model for the Hubs is based on great work of the "Worcester Model".

As a Satellite Hub Leader, you will be that warming voice to get the right people around the table and helping to enhance services and close the gaps in services that vulnerable people, like Cardon Banfield, slip through.

You don't have to be experienced in homelessness to become a volunteer because full training and support is provided.

We are currently looking for Hub Leaders in every area of England and will expand to Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland soon!

One of our Satellite Leaders gave us great feedback on the programme:

"It's rewarding knowing that you're part of the solution and helping those who need it most in your local community. It's also great for your CV!"
